Location: Millcreek Township, PA | Salary: $80,000–$90,000 | Application Deadline: October 17, 2025
Millcreek Fire Department is a newer, growing career department with 30 full-time, 13 part-time, and a strong team of volunteers. We’re hiring our first Assistant Fire Chief—a dynamic leader ready to help shape the future of fire and EMS service in our community.
What You’ll Do
• Lead daily operations in fire suppression, EMS, rescue, and prevention
• Support the Fire Chief and act as second-in-command
• Mentor firefighters and volunteers, oversee training and compliance
• Manage budgets, equipment, and resources
• Command major incidents and ensure operational readiness
• Build strong community and interagency partnerships
What We’re Looking For
• 15+ years in the fire service, with 5+ in command/supervision
• Experience in a combination fire department preferred
• Required: Firefighter II, EMT-B (Paramedic within 3 years), NIMS/ICS certifications, valid driver’s license
• Preferred: Fire Officer III/IV, Executive Fire Officer, or Chief Fire Officer designation
